We headed to the Bristol Wave to chat with the guys and gals from the Surfing England Adaptive Surf Team whilst on a training day preparing for the Worlds Adaptive Surfing Competition.

Amazing bunch. They chat about the barriers they overcome to be able to carry on doing the thing they love. Each one of the team talks about their specific challenges and how being in the water sets them free.
The world famous “Peg Leg” is part of the team and he chats about vacancies in the team and how to get involved. He also chats about how he legally changed his name to “Peg Leg”! Now, that’s how you smash through the challenges life can throw at you.
They are a really lovely group of surfers and made us feel very welcome. And man, they sure can surf!!!
