on this episode we chat to the Scottish legend that is swanny his stories are absolutely legendary as are his gold teeth, he has stories from meeting Kelly Slater on multiple occasions, surfing injuries and how we’ll do anything just to get a free breakfast.
This one was so much fun to record as Swanny is a good friend of Mitch.
Mitch said in this episode Pete & Mitch didn’t even need to be there, if they weren’t there and just put two cardboard cutouts there they would have still got exactly the same interview.
Swanny is one of those rare people that you meet who’s just an amazing storyteller.
Even the stories of how he first started Surfing are incredibly fun to listen to, If you can understand him that is his thick Scottish accent has made it difficult for a lot of people to understand but they still say that listening to this one that it’s absolutely hilarious.
Absolute belter. I’ve just come across your channel and can’t believe it’s taken me this long. I’ve only listened to the swanny episode and that sets a high bar.
